We live to please God and not man.

The shirt/dress we put on, the shoes we wear, the expensive food we eat, the cars we buy, the luxurious life style we live. Do we do all these to please God or Man?
Some people will act blind when they see others suffering, they will pretend they don't have and instead of letting it end there, they will go an extra mile to hurt you. God is not going to judge Man according to how much he possess in his Account, he is not going to judge according to the luxurious life style one lives, he is not going to judge the expensive schools one attended or sponsoring their Children to attend BUT he is going to judge you according to how you lived and made good use of your resources. Buying expensive wants is not bad, saving huge in your accounts is not bad, making savings for your future or unborn children is not bad but would you have to look down on people who needs urgently and presently.

Ask yourself that, "When I die right now, what accounts will I render to the Creator?".

One day we will leave this world behind. What impact have you made on your generation? Is your life worthy of remembrance ? These are the nights that will never die.

We are not in a competition in this world, we have our neighbors who cannot even afford a 3 square meal. People are really struggling in our families to make a living yet we go to church and sing praises. Helping an enemy doesn't make you a loser but it makes you a wise one. When God blesses you with resources, help others to also overcome their challenges. Don't use that as a yardstick to acquire unwanted wants. Remember that we shall not carry anything along when we die.
Let's do the needful while we live. Be a beacon of Hope today and tomorrow will have you in its memory.
