The Youth and Politics in Ghana. Be Wise

Image
I know that most people will agree with me but a few will put it in to practice. God willing come December 7th, we are going to the polls to elect whoever must represent us per constitution demands.  To all of us, before we take a decision, let's have a night of reflection and make our decisions known to ourselves only. The Youth of today are used in the Ghanaian politics just like the way we use our tissue paper to wipe away every dirt. Please I want everyone to bare me witness, if am wrong I stand to be corrected.  Individuals die as a result of climbing light polls to mount party flags. Individuals died as a result of resisting or accepting a new voters register. Individuals died during the registration of Ghana cards. Individuals died during the transfer of votes. Individuals are jailed as a results of trying to register foreigners. Individuals die as a result of snatching ballot boxes. Individuals die as a result of argument. I know most are injured and some in a critical co

Covid-19 and the Men of God.

The Heaven journey is not failing a paper In school where you can re-write it but when you loose or miss HEAVEN , there is no second chance for amendment. The Christian journey is nothing to joke with, when you fall for the world, you wouldn't be far from Hell fire. In Ghana and the world as a whole, some so call men of God have taken the name of Christianity to something aside the biblical norm. Self acclaimed Pastors, prophets, Bishops etc have taken the ignorance of the ordinary poor people in to robbery. I must state on record that, most of this so call pastors are fake and will lead you to Hell fire. Most of this so call healing and miracles we see on TVs are fake.  The Corona virus pandemic has a positive impact on us. It has exposed the fake and self acclaimed prophets. We can pray enough, we can rely on only God for our daily survival.  The 'pastors' in the Previous years,  especially 31st December all night service, will predict the future, tell who will win and lo

THE TWO HOMELESS MEN.

Victor and Adam ; the two homeless and poor men were on a walk as usual to find something for a living. Fortunately for them, they met a man who has  given them a chance to travel abroad on an all-expenses paid trip. They were told to carry nothing and return with nothing. They were to make sure they spend all that was given to them.  Provision had been made for their expenses and welfare which they would get upon arrival at their destination.  The only caveat was that neither of them knew when they would be asked to return home.  As they arrived, they were both given a huge sum of money and a credit card with no limits, but reminded to spend it all before returning to their home country.  At this, they became instantly wealthy by local standards. Adam thought to himself. "Wow! This is my opportunity to live like a king for I don't know how long this would last".  So he went and rented an expensive Ferrari and rented the best room in the best hotel in town. He ate the m

YOU REAP WHAT YOU SOW.

One day, a young beautiful woman who is a devoted Christian was on her way as usual to Church when she heard some misunderstandings and quarrel in the next neighbor's house, so she quickly walked there to show concern. To her surprise, her friend who is not a devoted Christian was fighting with her husband as to who must take care of their only child. Because, poverty was fighting them and they had no option than to neglect their son. The devoted Christian Lady adopted the boy and took full responsibility of the child despite she also has children. She never showed any difference and loved all the children equal. Since the adopted boy was older than her children and was also ahead of her children in education, she invested all her resources that are meant for her children in to the boy.  People were questioning : "are u sure this boy u are taking care of today will one day remember you?, why don't u save instead and invest in your children's future" . she only

We live to please God and not man.

The shirt/dress we put on, the shoes we wear, the expensive food we eat, the cars we buy, the luxurious life style we live. Do we do all these to please God or Man? Some people will act blind when they see others suffering, they will pretend they don't have and instead of letting it end there, they will go an extra mile to hurt you. God is not going to judge Man according to how much he possess in his Account, he is not going to judge according to the luxurious life style one lives, he is not going to judge the expensive schools one attended or sponsoring their Children to attend BUT he is going to judge you according to how you lived and made good use of your resources. Buying expensive wants is not bad, saving huge in your accounts is not bad, making savings for your future or unborn children is not bad but would you have to look down on people who needs urgently and presently. Ask yourself that, "When I die right now, what accounts will I render to the Creator?"

Covid-19 : Life and Hypocrisy

It baffles me when Citizens behaves like Nation wreckers. We were all aware the reason why the lockdown was imposed. Just to restrict movement and spread of the virus. In the sphere to protect our own lives, some individuals were heard calling in the President to lift  the ban on the lockdown because, they are starving, their businesses are going down, their freedom of movements are restricted. They viewed the PERSON who had the passion to protect our LIVES as an obstacle to their LIFE hence, the ban on the Lockdown was lifted. Our Lives have been given back to us. Meaning Our  own Lives are in our Hands now. It should be a joy or? Same individuals, I don't know whether to call them Spectators or Nation wreckers, are now blaming the President for lifting the ban, using abusive words, seeing him as the cause of the virus. Let's not forget it is our own life. Life is more valuable than any other thing on this planet. To those blaming the President of lifting the ban, don

If Tomorrow Doesn't Come

An old man told me a story about his late cousin who used most part of his active life in service to pay off a mortgage. He wanted to build a mansion so he took a huge loan for it. All other dreams he had were buried in his quest to build this mansion as he was stretched to the limits. He died shortly after his retirement and in a few years, his wife and two children he left behind had no real time use for his mansion. To them, it was too big, a waste of space and to all intent and purposes, old-fashioned. They sold the house off to buy a smaller apartment and some cars. The man who told me this story was pained for one thing: that mansion was the reason his cousin could hardly take care of other life's necessities. He literally lived for it but shortly after he was gone, it was up for sale. Friends, for once, slow down and take good care of yourself. I know you like to save for tomorrow but today happens to be a tomorrow you once talked about. For many people, their tomor

A man married a beautiful girl. He loved her very much. One day she developed a skin disease. Slowly she started to lose her beauty. It so happened that one day her husband left for a tour. While returning he met with an accident and lost his eyesight. However their married life continued as usual. But as days passed she lost her beauty gradually. Blind husband did not know this and there was not any difference in their married life. He continued to love her and she also loved him very much. One day she died. Her death brought him great sorrow. He finished all her last rites and wanted to leave that town. A man from behind called and said, now how will you be able to walk all alone? All these days your wife used to help you. He replied, I am not blind. I was acting, because if she knew l could see her ugliness it would have pained her more than her disease. So I pretended to be blind. She was a very good wife. I only wanted to keep her happy. Moral:- Some times it is good for us
